LEEDS LOOKING AT WARNOCK
Leeds united have moved in swiftly to replace the sacked Simon Grayson, as they step up their efforts to qualify for the play-off position. Leeds United recently sacked Simon Grayson after a run of poor results that has seen them drop out of the contention for the play-offs position.
Leeds United chairman Ken Bates has made it extremely clear that it would be the most important objective of the season. After the heavy defeat suffered at the hands of Birmingham city, Ken Bates decided to act swiftly by sacking manager Simon Grayson on February 1. Since then, Leeds United have been without a manager and the arrival of Neil Warnock will be seen as a great opportunity for them to push to the play-offs position.
Neil Warnock was also recently sacked by Premier league club QPR. Despite having done a great job with QPR, the London club decided to remove Neil Warnock from his position after not seeing him as the perfect candidate to spend around £ 20 million in the January transfer window. Mark Hughes was appointed in place of Neil Warnock. After taking over as manager of Leeds United, Neil Warnock has said that he is of the opinion that there is one big challenge left in him and it is that of taking Leeds United to the Premier league.
“I feel I have one big challenge left in me and believe Leeds is a club that should be in the Premier League. I want to be the man who is able to deliver this for a set of fans who never cease to amaze me with their numbers and loyalty,” new Leeds United manager Neil Warnock said after being appointed officially by the club. Leeds United are currently in the 10th place in the championship table.

LEEDS STILL WAITING ON RODGERS PERMIT
Championship side Leeds United have secured the signature of American striker Robbie Rogers and manager Simon Grayson wants to throw the forward into the mix of the Championship action as soon as the club secures his work permit.
The 24 year old had been trial with the Yorkshire club for quite some time now after the manager spotted him in the United States and brought him to England. The USA international striker had a four year spell with the Major League Soccer club the Columbus Crew for which he played 106 times in this period. Rogers is being seen as the solution to Leeds’ crisis of finding goals up front and is also being considered as a replacement for former striker Robbie Keane in the long term.
LEEDS SNAP UP RODGERS
USA winger Robbie Rogers had been on loan with Leeds since the winter break, but his excellent performance and wide range of skills and techniques has helped him to become a permanent part of the team. Leeds United manager Simon Grayson mentioned that his top priority currently is making sure that the deal with Robbie is finalized at the earliest so as to reduce any further complication in the matter.
The only focus right now is making sure that the work permit business is completed successfully so that Robbie can become a permanent player associated with Leeds United. Rogers has made over 100 appearances since the time he joined and has shown excellent capabilities in his performance and skills and ensured that all of it would be of great help in allowing him to get selected for a permanent transfer. The manager and coach were quite impressed with his game and are now keen on seeing him become a permanent player.
There are talks that once the deal is finalized, Simon will be discussing the future plans of action of Leeds United with Robbie to make sure that he feels comfortable with the game and matches. This is important as he is dependent upon Robbie to ensure that the chances of Leeds United for this Championship rise above par and cross the current existing limits. There has been no stopping Robbie Rogers from performing with all his might and soul and making Leeds rise in their standard and position in the League table. Let’s hope that the permanent transfer is definitely going to be of some help and use so that Simon can be relieved that he made the right choice.
